Vermonters at State House Defend Rights

The Vermont Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs held an event at the State House for Vermonters to tell their legislators to uphold their rights and to oppose gun control bill S.31.  Largest VTFSC mixer crowd ever.  In spite of a big snow storm, Vermonters showed up.

Vermonters in orange by the hundreds came and went before 2 PM and 7 PM to tell impress their legislators that they want their rights kept intact and they oppose S.31.

There will be a public hearing on S.31 at the state house, on Tuesday, February 10, with a 5:00 P.M. sign-up, for a 5:30 P.M start time  for citizens to address to the legislative committee.

The crowd starts to fill the state house cafeteria, until it overflowed the state house cafeteria area.

Vermont consistently has one of the very lowest crime rates.

Vermont constantly has one of the very best firearm safety records.

Vermont is not a major source of guns to other states.

S.31 is unnecessary and is a solution in search of a problem.
